X is following the path of hotwife erotica pioneers such as Kirsten McCurran, Kenny Wright and Ben Boswell, who started publishing on free sites and then evolved to commercial publication. Assuming that X remains the one operating the pen (or keyboard), I would like to think this development bodes well for both him and his fans. The first concern when an author starts taking down his stories is that things have gone sideways with his muse and the published stories became part of the problem. But, the reverse very well may be true when the author doubles down and seeks to monetize his writing talent, with his muse comfortable with even broader exposure of story arcs that have some elements of commonality with the couple’s real life.
For those of us who are true fans of this genre, the
problem that we have right now is that there are only a few truly elite authors who publish quality stories on a consistent basis. My hope for X is that his first commercial release will be well received and that he will be inspired to publish new works in a recurring manner.
Other good news is on the horizon, as Arnica Butler, Kenny Wright, FifthEstate & Lena White each have works in progress that are getting close to the finish line for publication. In the meantime, fans of X may want to take a tour down memory lane on literotica, as his other stories still remain available on that site (at least for now).
