On a slightly different note- you talk about your dog(s) in your narratives. May I ask what kind are they? We currently have one that from the Humane society- possibly some Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Before that we had a pure bred Samoyed (very empathetic and expressive) and a Lab Border Collie cross.

We have one. She's a rescue as well and is a bit of a mutt. We thought maybe beagle/lab mix, but we did one of those dog DNA kits and found out that she's golden retriever/fox hound/coon hound plus trace elements of a few others.

Actually, it is a funny story because the dog DNA site actually identified a sibling to our dog...but from another litter. We were able to track down her birth parents and learn a bit more of her story. (Purebred golden retriever mom, coon hound/fox hound dad).
