It’s all of the above. I know that sounds like somewhat of a cop out, but it’s true. Experiences range from OMG that was awful and I’ll never do that or see that person again, to OMG that was the most erotic and pleasurable experience I’ve ever had.
This is not going to be what a lot of people want to hear or read about here, but after a few years….the following is a description of typical encounter for me (which I enjoy immensely)
It’s a weekday. I meet my FWB for happy hour or a light dinner (sometime he comes to our place to hang out for a bit) where we catch up and enjoy some good conversation. We head to our guest/play room, maybe my husband joins, maybe not. We enjoy an hour or so of really enjoyable sex. He goes home, I get a shower, and I’m in bed asleep before 11pm.
I know that’s not an example of the most exciting evening, but it’s really fucking nice. While there are definitely some “over the moon” moments. The above example is “real life” and having an evening like that a few times a month is still pretty awesome!

Honestly, it’s exhilarating. I agree with others though, it can be expensive. Underwear, slut clothes, nails, hair, ozempic. List is endless. But once you’ve tasted a delicious cream pie you’ll never need anything else.
