Oh my God... I am so sorry to hear about Juli ! I lost my first wife following the birth of our daughter so I know how much that sucks. If it's not prying too much, what caused her to die so young?

Time won't heal this wound, but it will make it easier to accept.

Thank you so much.
Juli was diagnosed with a tumor which at first they thought was small and benign, but where it was located is what caused her complications and steady weakening and decline.

I agree, wittol. I don't feel it quite as much as you describe, but it's surprising how hard it hits. We on this forum really grow to care about each other to a surprising degree, even when we've never met.

Yes, when I first began sharing the experiences that Juli and I were having in this lifestyle,. it was simply a way for me to talk in a forum that was anonymous as I could never of course tell anyone who actually knew me and Juli..or knew Brian.
So what began as just a way of having an outlet to speak about a topic as private as our sex life, turned into a community of friends who have always been so kind and understanding and frankly very helpful.

I had never experienced sharing my wife before in such an intimate way with another man. And to share that journey that literally took years to develop so naturally, has been wonderful for me. Just to be able to be totally open and honest, not just about the details of what went on in our bedroom, but to share how it felt as a husband to be in this situation. I admit I did love it and it never became a burden or something that I regretted.

My Juli was always so wonderful and although she was hesitant at first to give herself to Brian, the sexual giving was less a concern to her than the risk of it turning emotional. Which actually it did. But even then she was careful to maintain a balance between her two men. Brian and I both worked to maintain that balance between each of us and Juli. So it actually worked surprisingly well for over 7 years.

And I truly am thankful that she got to enjoy the love of two men in her life. And Brian and I got to enjoy her love for each of us.

With all that said..yes, it's amazing that the group of people where in this forum can feel like friends, and your expressions of condolences and the feeling of connection is hard to comprehend. But it's wonderful.

Even before our marriage, my wife never hid her feelings for another man. She preferred to challenge me for it. And of course that is not without risks.
Later, we often discussed this issue and both of us were of the opinion that being in love is a very human thing.
That we had struck each other we considered a unique coincidence.
Open communication on this subject, that openness, gave us the mutual trust that was very deeply rooted.
Decades later, when she fell in love with another man as HW, that frankness was still there.
And what was the consequence? Our very close relationship got better and better.

I admit, it could have ended differently.
But without this lifestyle, this could also have happened.

I started reading this thread two days ago and I binged it. I knew when it got to be about 2021 and there were only four pages or so before the end that something must have happened. I was shocked and saddened to learn of Juli's death. I hope the best for Mark. I'm sure he still hasn't gotten over it. I'm glad they lived life to the max while they both had a chance.
