If you want the weekday shown together with the date, you change it in the "User Control Panel" in your profil.
Choose the tab Board Preference
Set "My Date Format:" to Custom
Enter these characters into the field: l d M Y, H:i
Click Submit.
You will now see the weekday and the date in every post.
