Stories involving cruelty and reluctance

Over the years, one of the sub-niches that I've found in this genre which I cannot get enough of are stories that involve couples getting in too deep--and crossing the path of no return. These stories involve themes of reluctance; crossing boundaries; and endings that are "bad" (depending on how you look at it)--such as involving enslavement, divorce, pregnancy, and etc.

Unfortunately, these stories are rare as they come--and even fewer are true slow burns that are actually worth reading. The two best examples I've so far been able to find, which are masterpieces in their own right, are:

The stories I linked above pass the test for me. Even though they’re fiction, they’re slow burns that are “realistic”—there is a realism about them and the couple’s reactions to what is going on that makes them so delicious to read. Others get to the main course too quickly; the wives respond too quickly and become totally different from who they were in the beginning. With these two, though, the writer takes their time to really show how the descent into depravity works.

i'm glad you posted. i think we have the same tastes. i've been going to great lengths to track down stories like these. i also got started on the rainyseason stories. i thought it was the hottest thing when i read it. there's another writer who wrote a sequel to it. search "nowriteri" on literotica. it starts off pretty good, but then it goes downhill. its not finished. i think the guy wrote himself into a corner and gave up.

personally for me, its less about the guy and much more about the girl. i think what i get off on is when the female, despite knowing better gives in to her base desires and becomes corrupted by a dominant male. she is strong willed at first, but then is slowly seduced, broken down, with reluctance and dom/sub themes. she is forced to do degrading things and she does them to please her dom, and gets off on it even tho she's ashamed of what she's doing. but she still does them bc she has an overpowering need to please him. i really like stories that are told from the female perspective where it describes her emotions and internal struggle where she wants to resist her dom and the degrading things he does to her, but ends up giving in. the cuckold part just makes it so much hotter bc her corruption is much more intense when she does it despite already being committed to another. i know this reads more dom/sub than cuckold. but some of the hottest dom/sub stories are also cuckold stories

this is the reason, xleglovers stories are so good. he does a really good job of telling the stories from both sides. i think a lot of the cuck fetish is focused on the cuck angst and therefore only told from the male perspective. personally for me, the plot may be very good overall, but still be a miss b/c its only told from the male perspective

Sorry for the late reply. I remember reading the sequel but giving up half way. It becomes too unbelievable; the original was able to take an unbelievable plot but still make it somewhat realistic. I don't think the sequel is able to hold water. So totally agree with you: promising but then ends up going downhill.

A bit of both. My muse involves the total loss of control for both characters. Where the couple kicks off the cuckolding journey with light curiousness, but it grabs and reels them in too deep so they no longer can stop.

The two stories I posted involve that plot point to various degrees. In blackmailed couple, true to its name, the couple becomes 'owned' by a secret society after the wife engages in an affair. That society leads them to whore out the wife and ultimately brand the couple as their own slaves. All the while the plot and characters remain believable; despite the ridiculousness of the premise, the author does a great job balancing between reality and fantasy.

Slut-2-fuck is different but same; the cruel society is replaced with a cruel femdom who is hellbent on twisting an innocent suburban couple and pushing them to their limits.

Though if I had to choose between one or the other, it would be the loss of control for the husband/boyfriend.

Nice thread, I share many of the same interests. Enjoy both bdsm and hotwife/cuckold... The submission, loss of control. So when control is truly lost and consequences arise, the story can be great despite the darker themes. I do love when the woman makes choices that end up controlling or somehow diminishing her husband. She can regret the choices or at least be of two minds but she still makes them.

Here are several to check out from KT Morrison: the Reza series and Pool Party. The latter is a standalone story where a wife's choices to submit rope her husband in too. The Reza series is very good but she never finished it. It is where the husband messed up business wise and his wife becomes a hotwire and he a cuckold. But she finds she loves it although she doesn't overtly tell her husband that. The dominant man ratchets up the control of the couple throughout the series. It is well written for the genre.

Any particular series or books from the quoted authors you would specifically recommend? Selvaggio, J267 etc?
