Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
Re: Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
Thanks for your reply. I actually tried to post in the cuckold forum and it said it had to be reviewed. It was a pretty long post so hopefully I don’t have to type it all out again lol.

Re: Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
The rest of the story is we make it manditory approval for the first five posts. That forces us to have to read it. That forces us to read spam and bullshit and cull it out before we turn members loose on the site. Just another check and balance. If you make 5 posts and aren't a pain in the ass we sign you off on your own. Beyond that the flag system is how you call attention to bullshit and trouble. I can't read everything so members help find trouble and we get rid of it. Helps keep the forum free of spam and fun.

Completely understand. Thanks for your responses.
Re: Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
It's been mentioned to me by a few people over the last year or so that have contacted me directly or I've spoken to on other sites that they tried to register here but just had their account deleted rather than approved. What's going on?

Re: Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
Sent an email on December 12 to the email mentioned in the sticky section but have not had a response.
Re: Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
Never got my emails either. Im real though. I made 2 accounts, mrtry1 and mrtry12 because I thought maybe I misentered the email the first time.
Re: Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
New members don't receive verification emails. Once you've registered, just log in.
But also: The site has had difficulty sending emails for some time. In three years I've received a handful of notifications, but not what it's supposed to send me. Seems like the "forgot password" link doesn't really work either (anecdotally - but neither the single time I tried to use it).
I will try to fix it - just now asking afagehi7 to check what the board settings are, and hopefully I can get the back-end stuff working correctly.

Re: Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
If a message is stuck in the outbox for quite sometime, does that mean the recipient just hasn't read it - or is it somehow stuck? I seem to not be able to get messages to send, they just stay in the outbox.
Re: Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
That's just the way PhpBB works - messages go into the outbox until the recipient reads them. Not stuck, just unread.

My post seems to be held up. I posted it several days ago and it still hasn’t been approved. Is there something I can do?

Re: Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
I am new. How long before I am able to post a thread? It says any post or response needs to be approved and was curious how long that may take

You were good to go from the beginning. I just make sure you are not a pain in the ass before allowing you to post unchecked. You are turned loose now. Go for it.

I am having same issue.Shefaali_India wrote: Sun Jan 22, 2017 8:32 am Hi, I am a newly registered member. I have received a few pvt messages. When I am sending a reply to them, all the responses remain stuck at the outbox and do not get sent out to the recipients. Please can you help?
Re: Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
It's not an issue. It's the way the forum software works, which is different from email. A message in sitting in the Outbox simply means the recipient hasn't read it yet.hotwifehub wrote: Fri Mar 13, 2026 12:17 pmI am having same issue.Shefaali_India wrote: Sun Jan 22, 2017 8:32 am Hi, I am a newly registered member. Re: Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
Not able to send PM to those who have reached out to me! Don’t know why this is so difficult. Unsure if this is my an operator issue or a site issue??
Re: Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
It's a site policy. New users are moderated (and unable to send PMs) until they've made a few posts. Helps keep the site free of spammers and dickheads.

Re: Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
I registered a couple days ago. I'm trying to figure out how to post pictures of my wife and I in the cuckold forum. I never received an email after I signed up. Is there something I'm missing?
Re: Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
Correct, new members don't receive an email.
You can only post pics in the Hotties and Personals sections. Upload as an attachment, and then place it inline. They have to be fairly small due to storage constraints; I use 800px on the longest side as a guideline.

I finally was able to login again. For weeks the site has been refusing my credentials.

You bumped the wrong thread. This one viewtopic.php?t=78142 and this one viewtopic.php?t=78146 describe your problem and what you could have done to fix it.Ghalilaeus wrote: Mon May 04, 2026 10:05 pm I finally was able to login again. For weeks the site has been refusing my credentials.

Re: Newly Registered Members - Not Getting Email
You can't PM until we sign you off for it which is at least 5 posts without being a pain in the ass.
