Got a bit of interesting news today.

My wife woke up today to find a text from an unknown number. It read something along the lines of: "I'm really sorry for how I treated you last summer. You deserved better than that. I got a new phone and a new number, and I've been thinking about you. I've gotten a lot of my personal issues resolved, and I would love to give things another chance if you'd like."

It's been a minute, so I figured I'd chime in with an update of what has been going on. We've just been pretty busy.

N has returned to being a weekly thing, which is great. The 2 of them have been having a lot of fun. Right after that first week back however, he did go on vacation to Mexico for a week for spring break. So my wife continued seeing the neighbor. It's been a good couple of weeks. I still don't like my current job, but my new schedule is a major improvement. Had a couple of job interviews but no success as of yet. Discouraging, but it is what it is. My wife finished her first quarter of nursing school courses and did amazing. She's enjoying a couple weeks off and celebrating by going camping with N. None that I can share for now. My wife is excited to go to a renaissance fair this Oct, and already bought a cosplay outfit to wear. Not quite sure what is going to happen soon. It's become kind of a running joke that every time N cancels, he worries about my wife dumping his ass. Which is exactly what happened again. Last week N was over and he was telling her how he wasn't going to be able to come over for a couple weeks and she broke up with him. Then they had sex a couple more times and he went home.
