Adding my thanks to all the others. I don't visit often, post even less frequently, but always assume the site will be there for whenever I fancy. Which it is, thanks to Leggysman

What sad news, though, of Allengt's death. I somehow missed that when it happened.

We know that allengt hasn't been on the site since 2020, and that his age is shown as 87 today. I don't know whether - or how - anybody would have known that allengt passed away. It's been mentioned here and there. armyguyot1 has said that he did. Perhaps those two had a sufficiently close relationship that army would have known. I have some details about his possible IRL name(s), a birth date, a phone number, a town in Missouri where he may have been living, etc.

Because of the legal difficulties w/r/t site ownership, I did spend some time trying to locate an obituary, without success.

I am also sorry to hear of his passing. He was a nice guy.

I greatly appreciate, not only those who have kept this site running, but those who have contributed to it and made it a place we want to visit.

Specifically to those who have give their time to keeping it running, I am sure it has been a yeoman’s task hut it hasn’t been thankless.

I can't imagine what it would be like to not have this site, and I can't imagine how much work it must be to keep it running. My heartfelt thanks to leggysman and to all the rest that keep this site running. It is truly appreciated.
