I have the ability to access anything of hers, just as she does of mine. She uses my password manager to keep all her credentials in, alongside mine, and we both know each others' phone passwords.

Still, I would never look at anything unless she invited me to - which she does occasionally.

I guess as a techie I've always been technically able to do things I wasn't authorized to do. It's just ingrained as a personal and professional ethic to never do them. In the same way as most of us would never consider shoplifting or burglary, even if we thought we could get away with it.
