Looking back and looking forward

It's that time of year again when we start to reflect on the year that's gone and think about what the year ahead may hold... I joined the forum just under a year ago when I decided I would work towards talking to my wife about the idea of hotwifing, having had it as a private fantasy for a few years. In the past 12 months or so I think I've made some progress, albeit thwarted along the way by 'life', including most recently a sports-related broken bone that has put me out of action both around the house and in the bedroom!

Comparing where I was when I joined the forum to where I am now, I haven't fully come out and talked to her about the idea as I had hoped, but my general suggestions around it mean my wife now jokes more often about other guys (most recently suggesting she might look out for a guy in a yoga class to fill in for me while I was recovering from the broken bone!), and we use toys in bed more often while talking about 'him' being with her. Just putting this in writing makes me see I have made progress in 2024, even if I didn't get to my ultimate goal for the year.

So, onto 2025! I'm feeling positive in our relationship, we're in a great place and I'm going to take that optimism forward and say that, life permitting, 2025 will be the year. Thanks to everyone that offered support and guidance in 2024, I definitely believe that without it I wouldn't have made the progress I have, and I hope for more of the same next year. Hopefully in 12 months I'll be writing a similar post but with a lot more to report on!
