502 Bad Gateway

We are working with the hosting company and have checked ever possible configuration. The intermittent nature makes it hard to track down. In fact, I personally haven't had it happen in a couple weeks.

Also, we are very limited staff. We don't read every thread. If you need a response or actions you have to either report the thread or PM us to draw our attention.

We have our hands full with fake accounts, spammers etc so reviewing and responding to every single thread isn't possible.

In addition to the Bad Gateway response I have gotten several You Have Been Blacklisted responses in attempts to post

Things have definitely improved in the last couple of weeks.

Posting sometimes still takes an age, and then gives a '504 Gateway Time out' message. But the post has actually gone through.

And today, for the first time since joining a couple of months ago, the search function worked!

So thanks for your hard work. Let's hope things don't relapse, and that you can get the last remaining problems sorted.

You'll have to send me a screenshot and your IP address. That's usually not us but a filter on the network. For example, Starbucks blocks OHW

We are still chasing the 502. There's a bot out there attacking us. This is the theory I'm running on.

As far as the search, I've been here for nearly a decade and it's never worked. Sometimes you get lucky if there isn't much load on the server but it rarely works twice in a row. The search is a serious resource hog.

Getting lots of 502 and 504 errors when trying to post responses, jumping between and getting threads displayed. It was particularly bad from 21:00 (9pm) tonight 8 October
