Not taking one for the team

As we all know, it’s hard to find a couple to swap with where there’s attraction between all four people. And there’s always a caveat that you ‘shouldn’t take one for the team.’ I think my wife and I found a way to ease that ‘problem.’
When we would go to our club, we often met up with a couple that had contacted us on SLS, or we’d just go trolling. If either one of us decided that the opposite person was appalling, we certainly wouldn’t play with them. But if they were more or less all right, we’d hop into a room with them. And, to be honest, the person who wasn’t perfect usually was the other man. I (the husband) was much less worried about prime physical aspects in the other woman. So that meant that my wife, Mary, often was on the other bed with a man who didn’t ring all her bells. Oh, she had fun with the guy - usually - but in these situations I was the one who was having a lot more enjoyment.

I realized I needed to make it up to her. After that first round with the couple, we usually headed for the hot tub and relaxed. Then Mary would disappear for a half hour or so, and come back to the bar and dance floor looking fantastic. Although Mary was sometimes discontented after the first couple, she always left the club with a big smile on her face.

Yes, it is nearly impossible to find another couple where all four click equally well. We solved that problem in a similar way by going to house parties and hotel parties, so you weren't stuck having to "dance" with the one who brung ya.
