Story drafts

Hi all, I want to write a longish story in the Library section, is there a way of writing a draft and coming back to continue it later as I can’t get it all done in one hit? Thanks

That capability isn't available here, that I'm aware of anyway. I've written out a few fairly lengthy stories of our adventures only to find out upon hitting "submit" that my log-in has timed out. I was able to retrieve things by going back a few pages using "history" then copy/paste after logging in again, but only minutes afterwards as opposed to on subsequent days as I think you'd like to do.
Maybe someone else will chime in with contradictory advice, which I'd be happy to read/know.

As a general rule - web browsers being as they are - if you're putting a lot of effort into a long post, it's a good idea to save it elsewhere before hitting 'Submit'. A text editor of your choice is a good option.

With the new bot-blocking software, if your IP address changes (due to Tor or a VPN or what have you) between 'Reply' and 'Submit', you can sometimes get redirected back to an empty editing page. In that case, usually just hitting 'back' in your browser will take you back to your submission, and you can just hit 'Submit' again.

I usually 'Select all' and copy it to the clipboard before hitting 'Submit' just in case.
