I wouldn't say that I'm on the prowl though I've been known to call it hunting LOL. It's my mindset, I'm always noticing men and I notice when they notice me. You men try to be so sly in looking but, you're pretty obvious really (if the woman is noticing).
I meet a man or catch him looking, I make eye contact, hold eye contact, and smile. Normally if he's interested he smiles. Most often he won't be bold enough at first to hold eye contact so , he'll look away and then look again. Then I know I have his attention and I'll approach. Depending on how he responds, I'll flirt and if he continues to respond, I'll escalate the flirting.
All of this is done in public places, shopping, etc. while I'm just out and about.
As for clues , I'm just me. My men say I have a sexual air about me, to me I'm just me.
