Since becoming involved with this thread and becoming captivated by the American attitude to sex, I thought I would return the compliment by introducing you to a little of Cockney Rhyming Slang.
For instance you don't say hair in London, they call it Barnet, as the Rhyme is Barnet Fair(a district in North London) You Rhyme with the second word although in usage always use the first word, Confused? ie a pocket is Sky as in sky rocket.

I get it!!! I can understand the evolution of the slang. It is much similar here in my region in certain circles, although not as much abrieviated as your Cockney Slang. In my area the watermen who harvest the seafood (hard crabs, oysters, fish and clams) call the condition when there is no wind or current flowing on the waters, "cam" from the term slick cam or slick calm. There are other examples similar but what is interesting is that a lot of our watermen's terms have been in use for generations and centuries!! The interesting part is the original watermen were mostly from England!!! And their dialect has carried on in those remote fishing communities since and has been handed down to each successive generation of watermen. In fact many linguists from England who study the spoken language in the time of Shakespeare come to our area to study the antiquated speech or our watermen, which is said to be very similar to that time in England!! So, a lot of what you are telling of the Cockney is similar to our watermen!! I knew you just have been dying to hear that!!! Now, If a nice young man from London were to take up residence in Des' city and Gigi found him, she could become very fluent in the Cockney Rhyming Slang!!! And maybe MORE!!!

I was about to update this two weeks ago when so many things came about that it became unreasonable to put it all into a couple of pages. Virtually all written about here have had major changes within a short period of time; then, a series of events complicated that. Those weren't negative in any way but too much, and too many, to explain in a few paragraphs. Also during this time, we attended two funerals that required our traveling some distances; each of those was unexpected but had nothing to do with coronavirus.

Attempting to put all that into a typical summary would be difficult. So I'll skip most of that and just carry on with her activities from about this time forward. Will return in a few days. Thanks to all who noticed and inquired.

Good to have you back!! My condolences to you and Gigi on the loss of those you cared so much for. It's never a good thing to say goodbye for the last time. I hope you and Gigi can find peace with your losses.

You know that phrase is just bringing the questions to the top about what are those changes. The "all written about here" would lead me to think about your and Gigi's sex life, has that changed?? Or is it your or her employment status?? You can't just float that comment out to us who have followed your story and not think we need a bit more info about the "changes". I hope they are good changes, whatever they are, and not bad changes for y'all. I understand that personal info is important and needs to be kept secure, but if you have the ability to expand on those changes and how they relate to our discussions here, I'm very sure ALL of your regular readers would like to know. I also realize that catching up on two weeks of activity is a lot to write about, so, no expectations of details, but just a clarification summary would be good, if you are comfortable with doing that.

At the same time, I do respect your privacy, so if you don't want to discuss the changes, then just tell me (us) that you will just pick up from here and move forward. Kinda like saying, "Forget it, it ain't happening!"

Hope its not work. People always think office affairs are big secrets, but they never are. A friend thought his was absolutely discrete until a few months ago when someone got pissed off with his lover and made an anonymous formal complaint. As a Senior VP, they hammered him for having an affair with someone who works for him- power imbalance they call it- and things went from great to shit in the blink of an eye. Two months on and he's gone from bullet proof hero, to looking for a new job.

Wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Like many others here, I have been concerned and checking your profile often. Thanks for updating us.

Although the end of life is a natural part of life, it is often a difficult part for those left behind. GiGi is a devout Christian. I share her belief that to the one leaving, the end of life simply means moving on to a much better existence & that grace is indeed, sufficient.

Grieving for the loss is an important part of it - So should the celebration of a life lived, that touched others and all that entails. The graduation into whatever comes next, should be even more celebrated. I both sympathize with your losses and celebrate whatever those gone meant to your lives and their graduation to whatever, for them, has come next.

I haven’t been online here for a while. A rapid series of sequential occurrences made it difficult to make sense here with any one of those. Here’s why I hesitated chronicling those. Some is off-topic with this board’s interests. Because I'm on a break at the office and typing as I recall these things, this may not come across as in the order of when these things occurred.

We attended two funerals. Neither demise was anticipated. One of those had been a high-school classmate of Beau’s, who Gigi met a year ago at Beau’s family home during his 21st birthday party. On that day, Gigi and the young man engaged in a friendly diving competition at the lake behind his family’s home; Beau’s former high school friends and his then-roommate Jack watched from the dock and shore. He was injured in an accident two months before his demise, and Beau had visited him often when his friend was in recovery. He passed away as a result of damage to vital organs.

The other memorial service was that of my wife’s former boss who had made passes at her when she was working at her first job following graduation. She resisted his advances at the time; but after becoming involved with a series of other men where we now live, she told me she wished she then had the attitude about extramarital sex she now has. A week we visited her parents in her hometown, she suggested we arrive a day earlier than she told her parents to expect us. We checked into a downtown hotel and she phoned her former boss for lunch without me. She confessed to him she then regretted resisting his advances. Some here may recall I once wrote about all that in a separate posting before consolidating many of her experiences into this one thread. He came to our hotel room that night and fucked her brains out; I left our room before he was to arrive and met for drinks with another reporter with who I once worked at the town newspaper. Her former boss was 57 when he suffered a second massive stroke and passed away due to heart failure two weeks after the latter.

I was in the process of updating my wife’s experiences when that and other events came about, but things quickly came a bit too complicated.

And I was out of town five days on assignment. My wife’s newest boyfriend Fred was at our home a few hours on three of those nights and she visited his place once. Friday was the only time he stayed overnight and he left around noon the next day. The following week, Gigi and her boss came home an afternoon after work for a couple of hours of sex while I was working late.

The bank where they work isn’t as open for business as it had been before the virus outbreak. Face-to-face transactions with customers have been by appointment-only. Most financial transactions have been with drive-up tellers. Because of the bank’s expansion, Gigi had assumed she wouldn’t have much personal time through October; but with the partial shut-down, that hasn’t happened as anticipated. The bank’s revenue hasn’t been seriously impacted and no employees have been laid off.

Gigi’s young boyfriend Beau had told his girlfriend Sherry she could share his place but, with her new job as a jet aircraft mechanic locally, she preferred having her own place until they marry upon Beau’s graduation next year.

Ben and Liz took us, Beau and his girlfriend Sherry on an overnight boat trip earlier than planned. None minded that I sat nearby in the sleeping quarters, naked and masturbating as the foursome fucked. Sherry has spoken with the local Air National Guard unit and is likely to soon join as a part-time reservist. With her private pilot’s license and two years’ training in aircraft maintenance, she was told she’s a rare catch for the service.

Beau has leased a duplex apartment while attending school and working part-time for the bank’s chief financial officer. He has since become friends with his next-door neighbor, a 25-year-old graduate student in psychology at the university Beau attends. Within his first few days at his new digs, he noticed a man estimated to be in his late forties visiting the girl next door and often staying overnight. On occasional evenings, he can hear the girl noisily fucking. The night my wife stopped by Beau’s place for two or three hours, she and the man pulled up outside the duplex at the same time. She introduced herself and the two talked a few minutes alongside her car. He told her he is divorced and, although Gigi didn’t tell him she’s married, she’s sure he noticed her wedding ring.

While she and Beau were having sex, they chucked when hearing his next-door neighbor screaming as her boyfriend fucked her. Beau told my wife that the man is apparently well-to-do financially and is paying her apartment’s rent and her schooling. Gigi suspects the woman’s boyfriend probably thinks she and Beau have a similar financial arrangement, which they don’t. What came about after that is probably the most interesting of the past few weeks, so I’ll have more to say about that when I return here in a few days.

Our friend Jean has finally rejoined the Navy as a active-duty pharmacist and will be at first in indoctrination and training programs. She called us two nights before leaving and we talked with her and her husband in a four-way phone conference. No mention of her and my wife’s sexual activities was mentioned for the reason Jean and her spouse don’t talk about their occasional extramarital hookups; each understands the other has occasional affairs but neither wants to know the details. She promised to phone us now and then; and, if she cannot at times, her husband would pass along whatever new information he had about her. Gigi and Beau have each since said they already miss her.

Her husband mentioned on the phone he and Jean went camping a few days in their RV. While setting up an outdoor grill, a rattler slithered up within eight feet of them but seemed ill and didn't come any closer, then wiggled off into the nearby brush. My wife laughed and said, "Maybe it was a 'reptile dysfunction.'"

All the above isn’t “everything” during my absence at this board but trust it answers those subsequent inquiries above. I’ll expand on one or two of Gigi’s experiences within a day or two. Thank you to those who have since offered comments here. We appreciate your interest in our ongoing history.

As always thanks for your update Des. While it’s your life and you can tell us what you want when you want, these posts are like our reality tv (better) and we get used to regular episodes. I also don’t understand your previous post about changing all that was written here. While it may have been a big couple of weeks even for Gigi (I figure she has had sex with 7 or 8 different people, Ben, Liz, Beau, Sherry, Fred, Bossman, likely Des and Beau’s neighbours. It big but not so different as what was written here previously. Sad that we missed what would have been very hot details. Second it’s interesting that Sherry wants her own space. Is this so she can continue to have lovers over without having to coordinate with Beau? Also allows him time with Gigi.
