Electrical work fine. I also replaced a couple of outlets with better wiring and also swapped in GFI's. Did it all "hot" if you know the reference, no issues.

I deferred on the copper pipe to supply water to that deck. Will do it after what came up (below).

I also gave in to SW's request for a fire pit in the mid-level deck. The issue was no gas line out there. I was all ready to pre-cut the ceiling in the lower level so the plumber could start and finish it on Wed and not waste time gaining access, but decided to cut through the flooring since that's apparently going to be redone anyway.

I am thinking 'something' had to have happened. This was the second meeting. There would have been a lot of awkwardness if they did not at least address the situation; and possibly then try taking the next step forward in some way (even if a small step - or a big step!) I am thinking a lot of conversation followed by 'something'. I agree if it something else negative happened, most likely it would have been shared.
