A fellow musician of that time, Avril Lavigne was also known to be sleeping around while married to Deryck Whibley. I had read a story at that time some 15 years ago or so that Deryck was at a nightclub with friends when Avril showed up at the same club with another man. To compound his humiliation, management asked Whibley to leave without making a fuss as they didn't want to have to put up with any awkward confrontations. As she was the bigger celebrity of the two, management had apparently decided they would rather have the business of his cheating wife and the man she was presumably cuckolding him with, even though he was there first.
