An update.

We attended the dinner party at the house of Ms. V on Saturday night. She was presenting her new boyfriend, and she's very money-oriented so we all kind of feel for the poor fellow, but at the same time it seems he has plenty of money so perhaps it's a good fit.

SW pointed out that Ms. V wants to show her guy that she has normal social skills, normal friends, etc. But she doesn't, really, except through all of us. SW and I were along to add legitimacy. We understood and played it as expected.

One of the guests (Ms. Z who has been to our parties a couple of times beginning last summer but until now has not been mentioned) has gone deep into a new hobby, with an eye to a path for a new profession in the future. Photography.

She has been pressing SW for a Boudoir session since last fall and now has even more high-end equipment, as well as the beginning of a pretty nice portfolio. She clearly knows how to make pretty women look extra glamorous.

So SW has agreed it's time to make it happen. I will support without getting too involved, but will conspire with Ms. Z.

On a side note, also at this party in her splendor was (a nice surprise from my chair) Ms. K (of pantygate fame)! Looking hot (as usual) and very friendly to me (also as usual). But I was careful not to linger any conversation with her for more than a modest amount of time. She remains the workout girl. We did a spin class this evening and after her shower, we were considering dinner and she stopped and exclaimed "oh, that's right, I have Mr. G tomorrow" and lost the conversation about dinner.

This morning before arising, she asked me to spoon with her a bit. She was too hot with the covers and the spooning, so threw off the covers and pulled off her nightgown, leaving her in her skimpy panties. Getting ready for a triathlon (a mini "sprint") within the next few weeks.

I believe I mentioned that she said I'd have to wait at the airport for an extra hour if she was to pick me up from my business trip, because she couldn't or wouldn't consider missing her time with Mr. G. She is dressing for him. Well, actually for herself, for him. And/or for his wife. She is competitive and stubborn.

She is not dressing primarily for me, although of course I get a benefit and the cover story will be that she's doing it for me.

Just like the dancing and pool dive at the big birthday party in June. She said that was for me; again, yes and no. Or no and yes.

At the same time, she is very comfortable around him, after all these years (5?) with private training sessions usually twice a week. They must have a certain level of relaxed comfort with each other, and undoubtedly have talked about everything under the sun, and then some.

I believe she is pushing the boundary a bit with Mr. G, to see what may happen. She is trying to look innocent about it, and also posturing so that she can ramp down quickly and cover her tracks. And as I mentioned in another post, I think she wants to be desired by Mr. G as a competitive thing with Mr. G's wife. Remember, Mr. G's wife does not prefer SW and SW knows it. And let's be clear, if SW is a 10 then Mr. G's wife is a 6, or 7 at best. And the only reason the wife would not prefer SW is that she sees her as a threat. We all know this, especially Mr. G.

SW doesn't want to inflame my Hotwife Husband tendencies, so I believe that's the primary reason she covered up. I see what she's doing, and she's not really "hiding" it, but she also doesn't want me to get "all up in her grill" about it. I mean, she intensely avoids any kind of rejection, so she would not want me to know if anything is heating up until after the fact, after it's already shown itself. SW and I went to dinner last night. I'm trying to get boys' night back to every other week, so I took a break from that and met her after my dance class. We tried a relatively new place, now that the initial buzz has abated, and also that it was a Wednesday night.

She had, earlier in the day, obliquely noted that she has some things for me, to talk about. Not in the kind of "we gotta talk" manner, but presented subtly and in language that let me know it might be something having to do with a guy.

And it was. I was thinking it might by Mr. G but it was not. It was Mr. M, her guy from her hometown, the one from the phone sex, the one she seduced last Thanksgiving weekend and from whom she hasn't really heard since then.

You may recall that she was very chagrined during her Mother's Day visit (the annual visit that Mr. M certainly knows about) when she'd left hints for both Mr. S and Mr. M but neither of them ended up pursuing it. No that's not right. Mr. S stood her up on Saturday night and she didn't tell me about it until many weeks later. That was the night she a) got in a fight at the hotel bar, and b) called me drunk and in tears (twice!) while I was having a hell of a time on Mr. E's boat party. Once she told me the details, several weeks later, it all finally made sense to me.

And again illustrated her process of keeping these things to herself until she's ready to share.

But I digress. Mr. M also didn't pursue anything with her, not even a coffee meet-up. And nothing much since then, even though she let him know she would be back in July. She also didn't hear back from him during the July trip (with me).

So she called him last week and essentially read him the riot act. That she had gone out of her way to be his friend and supportive, that she had been sending him fun and funny instagram videos to get him out of his divorce doldrums, etc. But that he is just only thinking about himself and his troubles. That he is not reciprocating the friendship in any meaningful manner. That she won't have a one-way friendship, so she's done with him. She said he acknowledged it, accepted that he was not a good friend to her, and accepted that she was calling an end to the friendship.

We'll see how that plays out. She's told me at least three times that she's not contacting him again, but here it is, she had the recent call, etc.

I was the loving and empathetic husband, comforting her on I guess it's a breakup.

If Mr G, who could obviously attract a 9-10, is with a 6-7 may I surmise that she is bankrolling him? He could lose his paycheck if he gets involved with SW. It would make sense.

Mr. G apparently immigrated with his family, while very young, from Africa. He grew up in the U.S.

It's my take that he prefers blonde American women and got together with his wife while not yet realizing his full potential.

Okay, here's the update on my conversation with SW regarding Mr. G. Not a major breakthrough, but kind of testing where she presently sits with it.

We were at dinner on Wed night, sitting at the bar while waiting for our table. She'd told me about her breaking up with Mr. M. Now on the second glass of wine (white wine this time).

I took the opportunity and said "Something peripherally related to this, I have an observation to share with you." She waited, with the wine glass in her hand, sitting there in the chair at the hip bar with her cute blue jeans and shiny silver boots, with a top that has a bit of a western flair.

The hostess came to let us know our table is now ready. SW declined and preferred to continue sitting at the cocktail bar, and we ordered our dinners from the bartender.

I then continued the conversation.

I said that after seeing her in that super-cute new sporty polka-dot sports bra top, and the new spandex transparent short Capri-style workout pants, she is such a picture of sporty perfection that it reminds me back of the days when I first saw her at the gym and just had to attend her class, later meeting her, and pursuing the relationship.

I also said that it makes me proud that commitment to staying in shape, continuing to work out so regularly, and the training for the triathlon, etc. The payoff is manifold; she looks good, feels energetic, gets attention, etc.

Finally, I said that with the elimination of Mr. S and Mr. M she no longer has any ongoing boyfriends in the mix, and that her wearing sexy and revealing outfits for her workouts with Mr. G are in many ways filling this desire I have for her to be my sexy muse. That I encourage and support her in such efforts. I asked her if Mr. G seems to like the outfits.

She responded (and I'm literally transcribing) "Oh, Mr. G gets more than enough from me, you can be sure of that."

Today is Friday and she's all set for their weekly workout at noon. She made sure to remind me of this, last night. I have a ton of work but will do my best to observe and take mental note as she departs and returns, etc.

Oh, and BTW after we returned home on Wednesday from our dinner at that bar, we had a nice quickie in her office before heading up to bed. Had to be quick and quiet because her niece had just said goodnight and went into her room, adjacent to where we were.
