We had a few hiccups but Daphne had enough liquid courage to dance in the shadow box. She also had gotten hit on a few times by men and women when I wasn't around. Overall it was a meh experience and not much more than going to a dance club (which we never do).

I'm just glad this was our first lifestyle event exposure rather than a sex club or hotel takeover. As we don't swap our opportunity was limited, but if we did I think things could have definitely moved to a swap with an attractive woman.

This is the first time in two years they’ve had an event because of Covid. When we got there, there were two couples already talking as well as the two hosts, bartender, and DJ and his wife. There were three other couples just sitting there by themselves. We struck up a short conversation with the couple that came in behind us. We’re both bit of wallflowers so it was difficult getting beyond the general introductions.

At no time did another couple introduce themselves to us. We did the introductions with 4 couples. I do know that when Daphne was alone that individuals would talk to her.

Our adventuring is basically over. All I can say is I suck at picking up women. I tried again earlier in the year using a dating site (Match). Had a woman set up for a M&G and she gave me the old "my dog is sick" routine after she didn't show up. I've tried SLS too, which is a swinger site but nothing ever got beyond just texting with single women on there (same thing with Tinder).

Being married doesn't help but I'm aware of other married men being successful. I'm going the blackpill route and really think that being average looking at best (but probably being below average) doesn't cut it.
