Can't believe I haven't posted to this thread since Monday. Probably because of the traveling, etc.

Our third couple (the one with Ms. H) went home on Sunday, and SW elected to stay in and pack on that night. I essentially worked all afternoon, in preparation for my midweek meetings. Tuesday afternoon Ms. V and I took our overnight bags and, because of reduction in flight schedules, took the long way (through Amsterdam) to a city usually an hour flight away. And then the aircraft landed, we jammed out of there to my Covid test as required to return to the U.S. and took the train back to Mr. V's house in preparation for the final night prior to our (SW and my) flights home on Friday (yesterday).

That final night was with the three couples (including Ms. H and her husband) together again. I have a few notes to add about Ms. H, that I've gleaned and that have now been confirmed by Ms. H. I'm interested to see what our colleagues on this board may have to say about these observations.

There is always a worry that females my be more loyal to each other for lack of a better way of putting it, but your situation where you have a two sided relationship business/friends and mutually keep them in separate realms is convenient or even possibly serendipitous since you didn’t ask for more details on how she knew of the shenanigans and if you had she might have not told you anyway. Unfortunately the aircraft landed just when we were getting to the point where I could have probed deeper.
