My thoughts exactly. A book by a mainstream author that includes hotwifing. There should be suspense and maybe some drama but a happy ending is a must.

Thank you. I ordered "The Key." If anything it looks like a good read and got good reviews.

I had ordered and read the book "Deep Water" by the same author who wrote the "Ripley" series. It is a fun read as well. The movie with Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas is not bad. He allows her to have lovers but then gets tired of the stupid ones and gets rid of them. But a fun read. It is on HULU.

Also, this thread is about books, but this comment about movies. I have seen two different movies (OLD) that have, well I didn't see it coming, shocking scene or happening.

If you want to check them out on TCM it is "Employees Entrance" and "Kiss Me Stupid."

Employees Entrance is a married couple works at the same company but can't let anyone know. The boss has the hots for her. There is something that happens after a drunken party that I was surprised was in an older movie.

Kiss Me Stupid is a married couple and the husband is a song writer. He is trying to sell his record to Dean Martin so he gets a hooker to play his wife to seduce him to buy his record. The women get mixed up and the ending again, is something I am surprised was in an older movie.

Maybe get some popcorn and have a movie date night. It could spark some interesting conversation if you asked the right questions after the movie.
