Wife has been, at times, very enthralled by the attention of a new lover. But we've always worked through it just fine.

No significant post-coital regret. Of course the libido-drop is pretty harsh when a guy is still taking your wife pretty hard and will keep doing so for a while yet. But she's her own person, she's loving it, and it's not about me. Fetishising the "hotwife" thing too much is not fair on her.

I voted for option 2. But what we (especially I) regretted, wasn't the fact, my wife had a lover. I regret, that I couldn't handle her falling in love with him. But there wasn't a risk to our marriage at any time. But now I'm emotionally grown to handle it. I'm looking forward to the day they'll meet again. I told her, I was okay with her staying with him over night. As he is married too he assured me, having no intention to "steal" my wife from me. He is very happy with this situation as a poly relation. And so is my wife, of course.
I'll benefit indirect at this arrangement, as my wife is almost always aroused.
