My wife hates it. She much prefers boyfriend or fuck buddy. To us, the term bull sounds a little degrading. Is that part of the appeal of using the term? Is the term bull used to signify the animal lust that is going on? Do cucks use the term bull when posting here but, would never use that term in front of their wives? Am I over-thinking this?
What do you think of the term "Bull"?

We don’t use it nor would we find someone that identifies as a bull. It reflects a power dynamic that’s not us. I think Stag is closer to what we prefer.

Hate it. I refer to my partners as our "Special Friends" or simply "Our Lovers".

Re: What do you think of the term "Bull"?
This question comes up as a new thread from time to time. Since my wife and I are basically poly (with a bit of a hotwife accent), the term really doesn't apply. Nevertheless, we both find the term distasteful. It seems to more accepted by those with a cuckold orientation, than by hotwife/hotwife hubbie or stag/vixen couples.

I think it's both degrading, and unnecessary.
If I ever get into this lifestyle, I would simply refer to him as "my wife's friend".
But it's human nature to want to put labels on things.

I refer to my intimate friend this way being careful in referring to a married woman that way. He knows but you never know what makes someone reactionary...but I confess I do like it when she calls me her sidepiece to him and when we're out as her and I....and him.

What do I think of the term "bull"? It's stupid and only used by men with inferiority complexes.
Re: What do you think of the term "Bull"?
It seems odd to me that most people on here believe referring to your wife's fb as a "bull" is derogatory, but referring to one's wife as "fucking her brains out" is not considered derogatory.
Maybe I'm too sensitive, but I believe both are derogatory, one to the fb and the other to a wife.

I don't see why an empowered, liberated woman shouldn't choose to get fucked that way, if that's what she wants
Making sweet lurv is nice too, but from what I've been told, sometimes a lady just wants to get her brains fucked metaphorically out. Nothing wrong with that IMO, or with phrasing it that way
Re: What do you think of the term "Bull"?
The "fucking one's brains out" is quite apt a metaphor with a close analog in the phrase "la petite mort," which is French literally for ''the little death." The idea is that immediately post-orgasm, particularly of the ultra, stormcloud-wringing variety, there can be a brief weakening or passing of consciousness, a sensation likened to death. Farmgirl has described orgasms of that intensity in her writings here. I might call it a thunderclap of the mind too, just to carry the metaphor into other meteorological dimensions.leggysman wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2024 2:41 pmI don't see why an empowered, liberated woman shouldn't choose to get fucked that way, if that's what she wants

Bull, on the other hand, does grate a bit, but not because I sense it as derogatory to the f.b. but rather to my wife. Being from Texas I can't as easily disassociate my thinking from its literal meaning, and also I'm too proud but to think my wife has better taste in men.

The therm "Bull" shows no respect - the same is the therm "slut" for the wife.
A cuckold should have deep respect for both.
Boyfriend or buddy - maybe housefriend is much better and shows respect. Master i think is also ok.
The wife can be call Queen - maybe also Hotwife or Mistress.
As a good behaved little sissy baby daughter i call her now mommy and him daddy - his mom i call granny and former daughter i call with aunt

I think it's a bunch of bull. I never use it and recommend that the members of this Forum move onto something more fitting. We just call the generic male "the extra guy." But so many other terms -- FWB, lovers, friend, boyfriend, even paramour -- could might be used. Why use a term that one associates to something that snorts?

Once they are longterm steady, my wife prefers to call the other her lover or boyfriend. Until that point it's her fuck buddy.
