I've made some wonderful friends here in the last many years and developed, changed and evolved A LOT both as a cuckold and as a person in that time.

Last November marked 15 years in the lifestyle for my wife and I and what a crazy ride it has been.

Lately, I've just felt that we've gotten in so deep into this lifestyle that I've realized that I really need a break from it.

I don't know how long a break I need but I just need some time to focus on other areas. Alice and I have talked about it and she is supportive.

What I need a break from I think, really, is all the constant humiliation. In the "real world" outside of this site and this lifestyle, "thinking with your little head" is a euphemism for men letting their sexual desires lead them to unwise decisions. Here, quite often the response of a man's cock in the moment is treated as an indication of what he really wants. I'm not the kind of person to yuck people's yum around here, but I can't help thinking that in many of the situations on this site the husband's little head is leading them (and the wife) into situations that aren't sustainable long term.

I don't want to draw too many generalizations; you're you, and everyone else is not, and people and marriages are very different. But for you, even though the situations you've described seemed super hot in the moment, the broader consequences weren't great for you, and I'm glad the two of you have recognized that and found a way to pull back at least a bit.

Thank you everyone. I'm just poking my head back in to read a few posts and see what's going on. I'm not intending to go totally offline, just take a step back and put less emphasis on this part of my life, at least for a while. So far it's been an interesting experiment and while I have been finding I'm actually missing a lot of this it's also feeling like a rest and a reset and I think that's going to be good for me. It's put a little wind back in my sails so to speak and I'd say my self esteem has even risen a little bit in the last month or so.

Needless to say, at first my wife was very concerned and wondered what happened. For the first week she didn't do anything until we'd talked it out a bit. In a way, that by itself was a huge piece of reassurance for me that I didn't realize I needed. Dave too showed his quality as a person and kindly took me out for a few drinks too as he also wanted to be absolutely clear that he hadn't hurt me or done damage to me in any way. I assured him he didn't and further told him that I fully supported him continuing to see Alice while I'm on my sabbatical of sorts.

What we came to was that Alice can absolutely continue to date while I am taking my "break" and I fully encourage her to do so. I'm not going to be watching or anything for a while but she's still free to go out when she wants. She had a date with Dave on Friday night and when she came home I even ate our what was left of the cream pie, so even that I still enjoyed.

Mostly it's just making things feel more like we're setting our own terms and between Alice and I without her lovers or anyone else being involved. It just feels right at the moment and there's nobody else I have to perform for.

Hello again everyone. I had a super quiet day at work today and decided I'd log on here and read what's up.

Nothing has changed in our world too much, I'm still taking a backseat here to some extent, which has not only helped me regain some better sense of myself but I think has allowed me a whole other way of experiencing the joy of being cuckolded.
