I got bad feelings when my wife was out and I couldn't see it. I am much more relaxed and enjoy things when she brings her friend home to play. Maybe your a bit too hardcore into the idea of a HW and ignoring what your feelings are saying. Perhaps you'd be better off if things were MFM instead of just MF. I thought it would be more difficult to find people interested in MFM, but when we changed the wifes AFF add we actually got more responses interested in MFM then we did when it was just her looking.

IMO I think you should listen to your feelings a bit more and try some new things to see how it feels. Worse case you go back to how things are now, best case is you find just the right play for you and your wife.
